Reinforcing shareholder rights in listed companies

The order of 9 december 2010 transposes the directive of the European Parliament and Council of 11 July 2007 on the exercise of certain rights of shareholders in listed companies, as authorised by the law of 22 October 2010 on banking and financial regulation. The new provisions of the order, completed and specified by the provisions of the decree of 23 December 2010, mainly concern the rights of shareholders in terms of the agenda of general meetings, replies to their written questions and voting by proxy.
