Appointment of Nicolas Salles to the Autorité des Marchés Financiers as Chief Data Officer

Published on March 11, 2019

In a regulatory environment marked by increasingly broad reporting to the regulators, Nicolas Salles, who joined AMF on 10 January 2019, is responsible for optimising data asset management and is the facilitator and key coordinator of the data governance system for AMF. He reports to Philippe Guillot (member of the AMF Executive Committee).

Nicolas began his career in 2001 as a business intelligence consultant. In this capacity, he assisted key accounts in their business intelligence projects.

In 2006, he joined the consulting division of PricewaterhouseCoopers where he became Manager. In that role, Nicolas took part more particularly in regulatory and data governance projects in financial institutions.

In 2010, Nicolas joined AXA Investment Managers where he successively held the positions of Head of Data repository, Head of Data Coordination and Governance Office and then Head of Data Solutions. Nicolas took part, in particular, in the definition of the Data Strategy and AXA IM’s strategic projects.
