The Autorité des Marchés Financiers is alerting the public to the activities of the website https://crowd-partners.com/ which encourages savers to invest in various fraudulent investment solutions and abusively uses the label "Plate-forme de financement participatif régulée par les autorités françaises" without the required authorization.

The AMF publishes its annual report on corporate governance, executive compensation, internal control and risk management

The fourteenth edition of this annual report reviews current regulatory topics – application of the revised AFEP-MEDEF code and the legal "say on pay" regime, modification of the French and European normative framework, and in-depth and statistical developments on many themes – and examines the transparency of 60 listed companies. The regulator notes continuous improvement by companies, and takes the opportunity to issue new recommendations and present new areas for discussion.

The AMF consults on changes to its General Regulation in preparation for MiFID II

The AMF is holding a public consultation on changes to Books III and V of its General Regulation, which deal with investment services providers and market infrastructures respectively. This marks the final stage before implementation of the new framework for markets in financial instruments on 3 January 2018.

Shareholder vote at general meetings: the Autorité des marchés financiers (AMF) modifies its guidance and announces the setting up of a working group

Following a consultation of market participants, the Board of the AMF has selected a number of proposals from the report « For a transparent and effective vote at general meetings in the digital era » by the consultative commission for “Retail investors”. It is within this framework that the AMF has modified its guidance with regard to general meetings of shareholders of listed companies. A working group has also been set up in order to further reflect on other proposals in this report.

Abu Dhabi Global Market’s Financial Services Regulatory Authority and the French Autorité des Marchés Financiers Link Up to Advance Financial Innovations and Efforts

Abu Dhabi, UAE/Paris, France: The French Autorité des Marchés Financiers and the Financial Services Regulatory Authority of Abu Dhabi Global Market (ADGM), the International Financial Centre in Abu Dhabi, have signed a cooperation agreement to promote innovation in financial services in France and the United Arab Emirates (UAE). The agreement was signed between Mr Robert Ophèle, Chairman of AMF and Mr Richard Teng, Chief Executive Officer of the Financial Services Regulatory Authority (FSRA) of ADGM.
